I have been helping families at this difficult time, for over 30 years, and in that time I realised very quickly, that even though it is a difficult time, it is an honour to be asked to help families to say their last goodbyes.
At the Floral Touch Bath we take great care in helping and advising families, Flowers are so important and are very powerful at this time, so they have to be just right.
You may decide to go for a single flower that has great meaning to you, or for a Casket spray of all the kinds of flowers that you have in the garden, sometimes we have been asked to make a Casket spray that incorporates fruit and vegetables, especially if the deceased was a keen gardener.
Other time’s we have been asked to make designer tribute’s that help to celebrate the deceased’s life, for example, to date we have been asked to make: Cricket Bat’s, Football’s, Flag’s, Car’s, Trucks, JCB’s, Dartboards, Bird’s, Horse’s Heads, Plane’s just to mention a few. Every designer tribute is very individual, so you do not know from one day to the next what you may be asked to make.
We also offer a very natural style of funeral flowers that range from very Natural tied Sheaf’s, to Natural Basket Design’s, to making foliage and flower garlands to go around a wicker coffin.
Sometimes families ask us to do arrangements for the service as well as for the coffin.
Every funeral is different, as every family wish to celebrate a deceased life in a different way, but no matter how small or big your requirements, we have a great team at The Floral Touch, that can help you.
Writing your card for your funeral item can be very hard. There are no rules so sometimes it’s best to write from the heart, or a poem, or a more personal memory to you.
